Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

--How to Use the Stereo 's Built-in Bluetooth

Due to wireless CarPlay requiring the use of your phone's Bluetooth, the main unit's Bluetooth

functionality is also occupied when in wireless mode. As a result, you cannot directly use the main

unit's Bluetooth features during this time (which is a rare usage scenario).

------This is because CarPlay already covers the use cases of Bluetooth calls and music playback.

If you need to use the main unit's original Bluetooth function, you need to press "Disconnect."

As shown in the following interface:

It will disconnect the wireless "Apple CarPlay" connection, and then you can pair and connect your phone to the main unit's original Bluetooth name, "VW Radio."

--How to Switch Back to USB Cable Connection

After connecting your phone to wireless "CarPlay,"

Go to "Settings" on your iPhone, then navigate to "General" > "CarPlay," and select "WiPlay_cfec."

There will be a car connection information. If you want to simultaneously use USB connection with

the main unit, it might lead to connection failure.

Note:The phone is set to prioritize wireless connection for CarPlay by default.

Solution:

1.Disconnect the USB cable and use only wireless "CarPlay."

2.On your iPhone, go to:

—>General 1->CarPlay 2—>WiPlay_cfec 3—>Forget This Gar 4

Delete the previously connected "WiPlay_cfec" to revert back to USB data cable "CarPlay".
